Biography

Dr. SipikaTyagi received her medical degree from L.L.R.M. Medical College, India. Due to her deep interest in women's health from very early days of medical school she pursued a residency in OBGYN from GSVM Medical College, India. She moved to New Jersey to be with her husband soon after her residency and got ECFMG certified. She served as a research assistant in many Gynecological Oncology (GOG) trials at Jersey shore university Hospital, New Jersey.

She completed her second residency in Obstetrics and gynecology from Rochester General hospital, New York. During her residency, she received many awards including the Dirty clog award for tenacity and creativity, the Research award, and Recognition of excellence in minimally invasive gynecology award. Currently, she is an OBGYN attending with Jefferson Health, New Jersey,and also a faculty attending for Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Tyagi enjoys caring for women of all ages from adolescence to menopause. Her professional interests include pre-conception and prenatal care, family planning, menstrual abnormalities, menopause. She is well trained in Robotic-assisted GYN procedures and has a special interest in minimally invasive surgeries.Dr. Tyagi is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
